Mileage From Each Marketing Piece | Use Listings To Find More Listings

There have been many posts written about the variety of advantages associated with joining a real estate team.  The list is long, and every real estate team works differently. Just as all agents are not the same, neither are all teams.

 

Agents who are of the same mindset not only work well together, but they put an effort into strengthening the team. A team is as good as the agents who represent it. A strong team is comprised of agents who focus not only on their own production, branding and reputation but on that of the other team members.

 

Hiring selectively is an important task and engaging with one agent who is not of the same mindset could easily hinder reaching the common goals of that team.

 

When a team member has secured a listing that may fit into a category of a niche worked by another team member, it’s the ideal scenario for continued marketing of that listing. Listings beget more listings, and to broaden the reach of exposure of that listing could result in more listings.

As an example, a luxury home listing could attract another luxury home listing. People want to do business with agents who know and understand the details of marketing a luxury home. Did I mention, we do have an offer on this particular property and that was taken on day 1 of the listing in MLS.

Mailing a “Just Listed” postcard to as many luxury home subdivision as possible is the ideal method of shaking that particular type of fruit from the tree!! If your expertise and niche is listing and marketing luxury homes, what better way to find another “luxury home” than to mail your current “luxury home” marketing piece to “luxury home” homeowners.

It’s a win-win for everyone, including the next luxury home homeowner who requests a market analysis and presentation. The team inventory continues to work for the all team members, if the team members use it properly.
