Activity in the The Sun City Grand real estate market fell precipitously in September, although prices rose. The number of homes sold in Grand for the month of September was down 34% versus August, and down 33% from last year. The average sale price increased 4% over August and was up 11% year over year. The average days on market was 75, which is a 19% increase over August and 10% more than September 2017. The burn rate (number of homes currently under contract/homes actively on the market) is 2.30 months, still a seller's market. Currently there are 70 homes on the market in Grand and 54 under contract, which foreshadows a stronger market report in October. The 12 month moving average price $304,209, continues to edge up, 3% over 2017.
