Nothing is more satisfying than finding the perfect home for for both humans and our animals. 

I totally agree that there is nothing more satisfying than coming "home" - wherever that may be.

The pictures of the birds reminds me that it's time to put out, and fill, the bird feeders to help out our feathered friends that brave our North Dakota winters.

Good morning Kathy. This is really lovely. We all need a home and if we are smart we make one.

I love seeing birds, they are such beautiful creatures.  I am sure they enjoy homes like that, especially if there is food for them to eat, haha.

You are right about nature reminding us of the importance of home.  I remember a few years ago, I had a tree trimmed.  Unfortunately, a nest of very young squirrels came tumbling to the ground.  I ended up taking in those squirrels and nursing them until they were able to fend for themselves.

This reminds me of a highway sign on which I always see a flock of birds.  Strange place to call home, but that seems to be their spot.
