5 Keys To Making A Great Real Estate Video!

YouTube gets billions of views, so getting this right is a big deal. I see so many Realtors getting this wrong, I may have to talk about what not to do. Social media of any kind including YouTube will just eat up your time and energy if you don't do it right. So do not be mediocre...do something special.

Key things to do:

1- Have a WOW factor. Grab ATTENTION fast (the first 5 seconds is critical) and with something that makes people stop in their tracks and watch.

2-Be UNIQUE - Walking through a house saying "this is the master bedroom" etc. is better than nothing at all but generally a waste of time. What makes a home video unique? Spectacular views, gorgeous backyards, great pool areas, and stunning or unique rooms to name a few.

3-Choose a NICHE and stick to it. Examples of a niche might be "Scottsdale Golf Homes", "Miami Downtown Condos", or "Malibu Waterfront Homes". I am sorry to say but buyers don't care about you, they are on YouTube to see what homes and areas look like. So give them what they want...great video and great information to go with it.

4-KEYWORDS-being that YouTube is owned by Google...where do you think they get their search results especially video. Use keywords in the title, in the video itself, the description, and the tags. A secret most people don't know is to get the video TRANSCRIBED. You can get this done on Fiverr.com for as little as $5. This is the #1 place Google will reach to from your video for search results.

5-Have a CALL TO ACTION .. During your video embed links directly in the video to give them a place to go to learn more. This may be the most important of all. Leaving a slide at the end with your info on it isn't enough! No one is going to stop the video, go get a pen and paper, take down your name and number and call you! Link them out to your website, your IDX, or even a squeeze page. You can also put tons of links in your description to give them a quick option to look at more homes or lead them where you want quickly.
