~ Facebook Marketing Tips ~
It is true that to reach a large audience on Facebook you typically need to spend money on ads or be famous. For everyone else, and especially those with little or no budget to help promote their content, here are 6 tips you can take to give your FB content a fresh look.
- Find a FREE photo editor (my team uses Canva). You can design your own cover, general photos, or take advantage or their free selection of pics as well as their free templates (in sizes that FB likes).
- Ask open ended questions to help with engagement (What is your favorite thing about Halloween? Where do you think the local real estate market is headed? etc.)
- Run promotions and/or contests. Who doesn't love getting free stuff? Especially if all that is required is to do something simple like guess how many M&Ms are in a jar.
- Add a FB button/link on your website. While the intent is typically to bring traffic to your website, adding a FB button may get consumers to visit you on FB where things are more free flowing and a little less structured. Besides there are over 2 billion FB users. It can be an excellent new prospect resource.
- Be real. You will rarely go wrong by adding the personal touch to your posts. Share an especially fun event, moment, or closing you have had. You may be surprised at the attention the post receives.
- Be consistent! If your approach is to set it and forget it, you might as well delete your FB Biz Page. No one likes to visit a forgotten FB page. Active pages get visits!
