Halloween in Aurora 2018, a Sight to Behold

October is the month for Halloween in Aurora.  As we went through and did our annual winterization of the sprinkler systems at every home in our Aurora property management portfolio, we noticed plenty of Halloween decorations cropping up.  It is one interesting month as you never know where the line between horror and fiction stops, as these boundaries are pushed each year with decorations becoming more lifelike.  Gone are the days of the unconvincing which in the front yard that is clearly stuffed or worse, limp and lifeless.  There are a number of impressive animatronic decorations adorning front porches this year that will make even the most discerning eye blink twice.  Fake blood that is now easier to wash and much more convincing is splashed on the steps.  Limbs that have wandered off from their host bodies lay scattered in front yards.  Front porch lights have been changed to feature spooky blacklight bulbs revealing hidden messages after dark, as well as festive and colorful orange/red bulbs.   This October has been a bit strange in that a cold front came in early and now we have returned to stable fall weather.  Fall in Colorado generally and Aurora specifically is commonly known as one of the best seasons.  We still have sun and cloudless days, with the temperatures reaching a crisp 50 degrees, sometimes warmer in the direct sunlight.  That combined with Halloween make for an interesting month to settle into and live in these cities.  IF you are looking for any Aurora property management advice please give us a call.  We have been operating in these neighborhoods for over 18 years now and have seen a Halloween or two.
