Why Some Buyers Fall into Bad Luck Buying a Home

By
Real Estate Agent with HomeSmart

First, understand, we all have disappointments and unexpected unfortunate times from time to time.

There have been times when I have had people tell me about their unfortunate situations when they purchased a home.

Some of those things would have happened no matter who the buyer was or who the real estate agent was.

And there are times, however, which just stand out plain as day when you hear their story, it just pains me to hear of what happened to them, simply because they never had a licensed home inspector.

There are other situations, where their Realtor did or did not do a couple of things that unfortunately cost the buyer money.

That is just not right.

I have had two or three times, where I just felt bad about what happened with my buyer, I just gave them $200, or $300. And I know it made them feel better.

Not that I had done anything wrong, just I felt bad for what happened to them.

And I wanted to cause them to feel better, and yes, I wanted to STAND OUT in their mind for years in the future.

That was a nice gesture. It's the little things that stand out.
