Downtown Pensacola - When you go to a new city, what is the first part of that city you want to see first? Downtown of course! Pensacola, FL has the best downtown area. Downtown is the heart and soul of the city. It is known for its award winning restaurants (with the best local seafood) unique boutiques, real estate, hotels & inns, museums and arts, and lots of events. There is never a dull day downtown!
What is your favorite meal of the day? Brunch? Perfect because Pensacola has the best brunches on the Gulf Coast. I highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits at Nicks Boathouse when you visit.
Pensacola is called "City of Five Flags." Pensacola is America's First settlement. The reason the city is called Five Flags is because it changed its ownership several times. The Spanish, French, British, Confederate, and American Flag have all flown over this gorgeous city. As you can imagine there is history in every step.
