This IS one kind of "Contribution"....giving credit for a job well done. ...something most of us don't do often enough....It takes just a minute. It's a minute that makes someone's day...encourages them to do well....and makes you feel great to know that "pat on the back" was a minute well spent !

As I see it . . . . . . . .
A healthy dose of praise
It seems so easy to criticize . . . . not so much so to praise.
Fact is things go wrong . . . . mistakes happens . . . . and our success journey can seem like a moving target.
So when something gets off track . . . . What’s the goal? Is it to criticize the person? Or is it to come up with a solution and correct the condition?
When goal is to criticize the person for the condition . . . . The thinking is off track . . . . and not focused on solutions which is likely to make things worse.
When something gets off track . . . . coach the person through the condition to correct the condition. With one of the key questions to ask the person is “if you got involved in the same condition in the future . . . . how would you handle it to create difference results?”
A healthy dose of praise will create more positive results . . . . then criticism.
