5 Comments on Sellers Who Rather Go Into Foreclosure.
It Is a sad situation. I have seen sellers in similar situations and once they stopped making payments they just wanted to stay in the home as long as they could.
It is really becoming a problem in a lot of places, like you said we dont really know what we would do untill we walk in thier shoes.
I have a seller who is almost to that point. He now wants me to see if we can do a short sale on his properties, but the thing is, he's current on his payments. I don't think the bank will go for it, but we shall see.
We did a pre-foreclosure sale (1 day before) in NY 5 years ago. It occurred just before Christmas. They had 4 children and wouldn't face the reality until it was almost too late. Very sad!!! I'd much rather the happy situations to the sad ones.
Sara:
It seems that with a reality such as they are facing--- the seller has given up hope, or will to fight.
Eugene:
Good luck I hope that you can help this seller ---- at least he wants to do something.
Bart:
Sad but true we never know what the human spirit will do until it is tested.

What is a mystery is why they don't even what to try and save their home. It like they have such a case of apathy.
