Yes, all around the country it is some sort of hunting season.
This weekend it is Minnesota's time.
The dreams are of not only seeing a deer but being able to harvest one.
I know that there are many who do not believe in hunting, but it is a way of life for years and years.
For some families it still is.

I was a bride once. He had only one request. It was that I not have any of our children during hunting season. Yep, you guessed it. All 3 of our children were born this time of year. Our middle child was born while he was hunting in Colorado. He didn't learn of her birth for 4 days. It was before cellphones.
