Quite often I am perplexed at the thinking of some human beings. I was just reading about another shark attack off the coast of Mexico. It was the second in two days in that area as well as a fatality off of California last month. After the first attack in Mexico, which killed a 24 year old man, the local officials killed dozens of sharks. Now I just don't understand this line of thinking. Why would you kill sharks in response? To make it safer? To make people feel like it won't happen again? To get that one shark that did the deed? If you're looking for the exact one that bit it's gonna be a long search as you'll most likely never find the one that did it. And it's never gonna be completely safe. People live on land. Sharks live in water. When people go in water...you're in the sharks territory! If you can't accept that...get out of the water! Seriously, I don't get it. If I get bit by a shark I wouldn't expect an outcry or something. I understand the risks I take if I go in. OK, I'm done ranting. :-) I believe in protecting animals and nature when possible and these types of things make me go batty. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Jim, the analogy I would use is, there are lots of sharks on the real estate business.  If one does something shady, does that mean dozens should lose their licenses in retaliation.  Someone didn't think this through.

That is why I am afraid of those kind of dark deep waters. Even trout are weird and alien and know "things". And I wouldn't trust a Bass for anything! They might nibble my whole foot.

Christine...good analogy. I was trying to think of a good one to use but I think you summed it up well.

Sarah...lol. Can't trust any of 'em! Thanks for the comments.
