. In "seasonal states" we are seeing temperatures drop...and in some places this ushers in the not so welcome cold/flu season. Sneezing, coughing, congestion...aches ....and fever...nothing that anyone looks forward to in the health department.
My Grandmother believed strongly in the "health benefits" of Blackberry Brandy...and we have to say...in our experience, it has had some "miraculous" results ! It is as much a part of our medicinal cures as asprin..and works very well besides !
Years ago...there was a plague of
"Crypto" as a result of a water problem in Milwaukee County...every prescribed and over the counter remedy failed...it was Blackberry Brandy to the rescue !
It has become a well known neighborhood cure as well. Our neighbors in New Berlin appear with a shot glass...or tumbler in hand should the whole family have "the bug" for a some of our Blackberry Brandy. It is not difficult to find or expensive...may be an excuse to commiserate the misery an that's fine with us...sans the germs !
Sip it slowly or take the "down the hatch" approach with a short or two..do it at the first sign of sniffles, flu or other mini malladies and toast to your good health....good business and positive energy to return to your "old self."
