I'm always thankful for yet another day. I always like to count my blessings and concentrate on those things that are good. We sometimes forget how good we actually have it. We start thinking on those things that make us feel bad, sad, or even mad. We tend to let our feelings drive our day, in which they will make our attitudes reflect our feelings.
My parents use to say, "Check your feelings before you put your feet on the floor when you wake up in the morning". You woke up! Thank the good Lord, you are on this side of the earth. Everyone that went to bed last night didn't get up this morning. So thank HIM for being here yet another day.
When we really think or concentrate on our real blessings, those little problems that we sometimes see so big, will become something so small. It's so easy to point out the flaws and faults of others and their situations. If you point it out, then be the one to have a solution to that flaw, fault, or problem. Try to enhance it and not make it worse. If more people would take the time to always find the good in everything, I believe there would be a lot more people grateful and thankful in this world. So check your attitude, your feelings and leave them in the bed before you put your feet on the floor to start your day.
In fact, when you first wake up, just say it, "I'm thankful for yet another day" Take the time to count your blessings. Name them one by one, we do have so many blessings to be grateful for. Enjoy your day.
