I love to eat lobster, so with that said I am very thankful for my friends, Lisa Von Domek and Debe Maxwell, CRS for twisting my arm to go to Boston, MA for the NAR convention but more particularly to go to the Meet Up at the Sheraton Hotel.
Since we moved to Los Angeles about 22+ years ago we had a tradition that who ever went to Boston, MA had to come back with at least two Lobsters. Generally that has been Diane on a consistent basis. There were a few exceptions when time did not permit it. My favorite place to purchase the live lobsters is at James Hook, because they pack it travel ready for the flight and are the least expensive place to buy fresh Maine Lobsters in Boston, MA. Hence, I have always stopped on the way home to Los Angeles and picked up my lobsters.
Needless to say this time was no exception either, just on a side note they do make a decent Lobster Roll at James Hooks, but I prefer to keep the Taxi running and pick up the Travel Ready Lobsters. So with that said we picked them up yesterday and yes you guessed it: today's dinner was Lobster:)) Now tomorrow I will prepare it a different style from tonight's dinner.
In case you are wondering it was clarified butter infused with Thyme & Parsley and simply boiled potatoes with parsley and you add the clarified butter to your own taste:)). This one was about 2.5 lbs, my favorite because the meat is sweet and not tough. On a side note Diane was wondering why we did not eat one each and why we had to share:)
So I must give a special thank you to my Active Rain friends, if you did not twist my arm to join you at the Meet Up I would not have had lobster for dinner tonight:))) Thank you again and Diane and I were so thrilled to meet you and the rest of the Active Rain gang.
