Where to live comfortably through your years of Retirement, you ask? El Dorado County is it! I had touted Prop 90 in the past, for retirees-though our County Board of Supervisor's just were not, and still are not all on the same page with that.
Then just when I thought we had it made-when the Vote went to the people, due my State Association bringing Prop 5 to the table, by getting it on this November Ballot...and well, we know how well that went. Too many just did not understand what they were voting down. Too bad, but come on now-it is time to roll with the punches, pick up our bot straps-and move on! Regardless of not having the ability to transfer your current Property Tax base to EDC-

We have beautiful Hills and Mountains, are surrounded by Trees and Open Space, the American River, Folsom Lake, Miles & Miles of Bicycle & Walking paths...oh yeah, and we are really close to the one and only Lake Tahoe and Resort Areas!
