The Beauty of Daytona Beach - Bridges

I have been living in the Greater Daytona Beach area for over 30 years. The beauty of this area is hard to capture from just a few random photos. I love crossing one of the many bridges across the Halifax River which connect the mainland to the peninsula and beaches. Every time I drive over the bridge the scenery is breathtaking and every day it is different.

I love our mild weather and mostly sunny days.  I love the fact that we have very little traffic and our roads are well maintained with no pot holes and patches.

Our cost of living is very affordable when you consider the beauty of living in such a beautiful area with clean air and no smoking here in public spaces.  We have a lifestyle that is the envy of many.

Miles and miles of pristine beaches, abundance of outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and boating. Championship Golf courses, tennis, pickle ball, shuffleboard, so many other sports to engage in.

Our farmer markets are abundant with fresh produce year round.  With many organic farms for fresh eggs, and dairy.  These are just a few of the many reasons I love living here and thankful that I can call this area in Daytona Beach Florida my home.

You paint a beautiful picture of the advantages of living in your area.   The low traffic part really got my attention!

Good morning, Joyce... I can understand why you'd be grateful for the beauty of Daytona Beach. There are days I drive through Charlotte and am suddenly taken aback by how lush and green and beautiful our city is and think to myself how fortunate I am to be able to live here and see this every day.

We lived on the oceanfront at Virginia Beach for many years. I really miss the beach and those ocean views.
