For years I had a great nail tech and then she retired. I hopped around for a couple of years trying out different salons but I didn't find anyone as good as her. Finally about 5 or 6 years ago I found another great nail tech. Her name is Kim and she pays incredible attention to detail and listens to what I want done. I keep my nails short and red and she knows that! I'm not fussy when it comes to nails, I just want them to look nice and well manicured.
A couple of weeks ago Kim was on vacation. I called to make an appointment with someone else in the shop. Well needless to say he wasn't that great. One nail broke within a day and another one broke the next week plus they were way too long. That just doesn't happen when Kim is in charge!
Yesterday I called to make sure Kim was back in town. It wasn't quite time to get my nails done but I couldn't stand the broken & chipped nails anymore so I went in early. Thankfully she was back in town and all is good once again. Plus the extra added bonus is Kim is such a fun person and we laugh a lot together. Our birthdays are within a day of each other and we are sure we are twins from a different mother! LOL. It may seem like a very simple thing being grateful for my nail tech - But I am - BIG TIME! Thanks Kim!
