Thank you to the United States Veterans that served us for freedom from being a colony without rights and freedom (Revolutionary War), to fighting to end slavery (The Civil War), forced occupation and genecide in Europe and SE Asia (WW1 and WW2) and everything in between and after. Thank you Veterans!
Our family had participants in those wars including my father and grandfather to serve us and come to the aid of other brother nations in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!
My father, Edward John Masich served in France 1944 and 1945 with US Army 328th Medical Batallion, Co A, 103rd Infantry. Thank you Poppy.

The United States Flag Code says:
—should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute. Members of the Armed Forces not in uniform and veterans may render the military salute in the manner provided for persons in uniform.
