Enjoy the Veterans Day Parade today, and starts at 10 am and should be finished around noon. The Parade will begin at Colfax & 14th, and you can see the route planned below.
The weather should be wonderful today (until tonight), so get out and celebrate our Veterans and show our appreciation! this event is hosted by Colorado Veterans Project. The Parade is broken down into serials that represent a different conflict in military history: Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, etc. Spectators will also enjoy corporate floats, car clubs, marching units, bands, and more.
Immediately following the Parade, participants and spectators are encouraged to join in on the fun at Civic Center Park for the Denver Veterans Day Festival. This family-friendly event offers FREE admission, a music stage, kids and family activities, military displays, tons of vendors, and a wide variety of food. The festival serves as a celebratory "THANK YOU" for our Veterans who have fought to ensure our freedoms.
There will be displays of both vintage and modern military vehicles featured for spectators to engage and take photos with. Uniformed men and women will be in attendance and encouraged to interact with children and adults.
