Peach Upside-Down Cake Recipe
(From the Peach Lovers Cookbook)
½ cup Butter
1 cup packed Light Brown Sugar
5 cups sliced Peaches
1 package (18.25 oz.) Yellow Cake Mix
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt ¼ cup of the butter in each of two (9-inch) round cake pans. Remove pans from oven. Sprinkle ½ cup of the brown sugar into each pan and arrange peach slices over tip. Prepare cake batter according to package directions.
Pour batter over top of each peach-filled pan and bake for 25-35 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto serving plate.
