Not So Speechless Sunday: Dancing Agave!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

An hour before sunset, we took a walk and headed towards the Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve.  The late afternoon light cast a lovely hue on everything surrounding it and particularly on this agave who looks like it is gracefully dancing.  This xeriscape (landscape that requires little or no watering) is one of our favorites in the area.

Wishing you a delightful Sunday, and a great week ahead!

We did lots of xeriscape gardening for my home in Denver. It is awesome, looks great and keeps everyone happy with the limited water usage.

Good morning,  Alexandra and Ron - xeriscape is one of my favorite ways to landscape.  Quite appropriate for so much of our area.

I always find that modern abstract art is fascinating and this picture shows how much can evolve in art from nature.

It does look like it could be dancing, Alexandra.  And, with a little breeze it would appear like the real deal!

Would not have known an agave plant if it smacked me in the face until reading your post, Alexandra. Kathy Streib hit the nail on the head comparing it to ribbon candy!

Nina Hollander The agaves are native to our state and the variety is astounding.  I am not sure they have name all of them.  Tequila is made from agave, and like Champagne can only be called Tequila if it comes from the state of Tequila.  LOL. A
