This is post #8 for the Nov contest about thankfulness. It’s my favorite day of the week, NFL Sunday, and I’m watching The Patriots play the Titans today. NFL season is an important time for most of my family.

 

We’re definitely sports fans. That begins at an early age, even for me.  Boys and girls, men and women, we’re all glued to the tv no matter what the season may be.

 

 

Red Sox baseball was exceptional this year. The Celtics are will rally. At this time, 7-5, but it’s early in the season.  There’s only one granddaughter who is a Bruins fan. That’s not my sport.

 

The most fun is participating in sports pools.  The Super Bowl Pool is the BEST payout, but it costs $100/box. I usually buy 3. The regular season pool is only $50 for season, but my great grandsons are having fun pushing their way to #1. Now, if they could only maintain that position, it will be a fun season with bragging rights!!!

 

Go Patriots.  You’re trailing right now in the first quarter.

I'm married to a New Englander - luckily for me the game isn't broadcasted (out here in WA State), so I have a reprieve of the yelling and cursing today.  I tell my husband all the time, the Patriots start slow sometimes.  Wait until after halftime, it will all be just fine.

I had that made at Busch Gardens theme park years ago.  The girl did the helmet free hand!

I was surprised to see the Patriots take the L, the Titans must be better than I thought, which I am sure makes my cousins in Tennessee happy.  I wasn't surprised at all to see my Cardinals take an L though, haha.
