I’m Grateful for my Fur Babies
I can’t imagine not having my fur babies. Over the years, I’ve always had Dobermans. My last one(Tank) was a rescue, when I adopted him, he as thirteen months old, he was abused, left outside, hit by rocks. He lived to be sixteen years old which is really old for their breed. When I lost him, I decided to get a cat, Buster, a Scottish Fold. He has a personality of a dog. He makes me laugh and gives me so much love.
Buster and my chocolate lab Buddy are so different but somehow manage to tolerate and love each other. Buster is very small compared to Buddy but they don’t see that. Definitely, a lot to be learned for us humans.
I’m so thankful I adopted Buster from a home in South FL when he was a tiny baby. He has a deformed nose, he breaths heavy which the previous owners didn’t want to deal with. To be honest, I don’t even hear it. When he gets stuffy, I just put him in the bathroom with steam which does the trick.
Those of you who love cats and dogs will understand the kind of love between fur babies and their human parents. I usually post pictures of Buddy as it’s pretty challenging to get Buster to sit a few seconds, just enough for me to take his picture. I think he knows because as soon as he sees me getting ready to take his picture, he runs away. I was coming down the stairs when I spotted him just chilling on the couch, thank goodness I had my phone with me to capture this moment.
