I am incredibly blessed to have some of the best pros in the business in my arena of work. From the lenders, home inspectors, contractors, non-profit organizations to the closing agents who make every deal work, I'm blessed. With a phone call, text or email, they will come to my aid without hesitation, and I do the same for them.
Of the half dozen pros who surround me, I can't think of a single one who hasn't crawled over broken glass to help my clients get a deal done. No matter how difficult, how complex or how simple a deal is, they've all shown up with the highest levels of professionalism, wit and humor. Even on those days when you just want to throw in the towel, one of them pulls you back from the brink and saves the deal.
We have found a myriad of ways to help each other in and out of business. I've strapped on my electrical tools to fix things in their offices and homes. My closing attorney has stepped in to aid my mother who was transiting into a assisted living facility. He has done things like that more than once when I was at my wits end. I've also dropped by his house when his electrical service went wonky. My home inspector has me on speed dial for those times he's just not sure about something electrical on an inspection. I appreciate the fact that he would rather be right than feel like his ego is taking a hit. My go-to lender has called in a panic when his rentals have had a serious electrical problem that might injure his tenants, and I've gladly gone to bail him out, and he has rescued more than one deal that another lender failed to complete. We have all become friends who are there in any circumstance in or out of the business arena.
Our relationship is far beyond business, but it's in the business arena that you get to see the years of service and education these pros have committed to their clients. We all teach seminars for each other at our personal expense. Why? Because clients need information, and all of us have something to share that can help them. When it's all said and done, we all have an insatiable desire to see people succeed. That makes us a team made in heaven, and I am thankful that we have discovered each other.
