Can I Introduce One of My Family Members?

Hi to all my AR family... Even though, I am a newbie here, I feel as if I know many of you already. I have been trying to learn the ropes and I realize that we are here to share staging news, tips and info but I also know that we need to share ourselves as well.. So, one of the joys of my life are our "many" dogs... I will share the rest of the "many" story later..

This is Sassy, one of our rescue dogs after the "beauty parlor".. She is an English Setter and was dubbed, the Escape Artist during her many stays with foster parents until her adoption with us.. She managed to get out of a 6 foot fence, also out of a 7 foot fence with a tarp- she is something... Sassy

After our "home visit" by Halfway Home Rescue to see where she would live, we were approved and Sassy started enjoying plenty of room to run and lots of love... It has been a joy to watch her chase bugs, constantly outrun all our other dogs and become a joy to our hearts..

<<<< This is Sassy after a trip to the "doggy beauty parlor" but she is not always this clean and beautiful !!!

I got an email from Carpet One today, they are having a contest for a new muddiest dog carpet spokes-pet and I just had to enter one of Sassy's muddier days!! I think she had been to the creek and as you can tell - she had a wonderful time!!

Welcome, and cute poochies!

Sassy is beautiful! (At least when she is w/o the mud).

HI Cheryl,

Cute dog - and it is fun to share other family members! Our dog, Copper, may not qualify for the Muddy Buddy award, but I did catch him yesterday up to his legs in our pool. The object of his attention - a tennis ball that was floating about 3 feet beyond his body. Our weather has cooled the past 2 weeks - so it has not been very warm and he was in some pretty cool water! I waded in and got his ball - like a good "mom." - Jennie

Sounds like fun! Dogs can be such great companions, my "Reggie" who passed a few years ago will always be my puppy.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome for my "furry family" member.. She is precious, but so are all of our other doggies... We are suckers when it comes to dogs... We take care of dogs that no one else does...

Leslie - Sassy is really beautiful but when we got her - her hair was really long and wiry, they had named her Beauty, when I saw her - I said well, she's cute but she's not a Beauty, at least not then..I am so grateful that she has lots of room in the country to run around - no more cages for her to escape from..

Hi Cheryl - Welcome to the Rain! What a cutie you have. Looks like she likes to roll in the mud! I have a Golden Retriever who likes to do that. We have a kiddie pool in th e backyard to clean him off!
