Observations of a Los Angeles Realtor: I love my Lexus RX 350 aka my mobile office! Hence I am thankful as well as grateful that I can afford one and own one.
Not wanting to sound like a commercial, I had a Lexus RX 330 and I bought it to make sure I could put enough Sandwich Signs aka Open House Signs in my car in order to compete against some heavy hitters in my market place. Fast forward ten years later I still loved my car, but as a Realtor in Los Angeles, I did not want to look like I am not successful enough to buy a new car, so reluctantly I traded it in for the RX 350. The technology has improved so much, words are difficult to describe it.
The navigation system is out of this world. The phone allows me to call back missed calls, helps me redial calls I made earlier and the list goes on and on. I can check and respond to Text Messages. I can also read and respond to my emails. So, you can see why I consider it my mobile office.
I remember in the “good old days” I had to carry my laptop with me to do the things now my car can do thanks to having my smart phone synced. Sadly, my car is already four years old, so I am not ready to trade it in, but I am hoping that Lexus does not come out with a newer model to date my mobile office😊!
Another reason I love the car, because it lets me know if someone is too close on either side of me. It also helps me park properly and I can back up with a rearview camera helping me. I have a hard time reflecting and wondering how I parked and drove twenty years ago, without any of these bells and whistles that are available to me.
The only thing I miss in my mobile office is my assistant who is looking down at me saying he would rather be riding with me too…
