Today I give thanks for having a nose!
Is Thanksgiving Day, for do you suppose
That Thanksgiving dinner would taste as good
If you couldn’t smell it? I don’t think it would.
Could apple pie baking—turkey that’s basting
Not be for the smelling? Just be for tasting?
It’s a cranberry-cinnamon-onion bouquet!

As you begin to travel for the holiday or welcome friends and relatives into your home, please remember there may be those who may be alone or could use a cheery phone call with a quick invitation for dinner.
Also, we give thanks every year for the military personnel who may be in a foreign country or away form loved ones during the holiday season. May they all be blessed with an abundance of comradery and full bellies!
There are oh-so many reasons to be THANKFUL:

- That family members are happy and healthy.
