I am thankful for my family. I grew up in a fishing community and today I thrive with my husband and daughter living life on Kachemak Bay. When I see the values that were taught to me and my husband getting passed down to my three-year daughter, I couldn't be a prouder mom. She is a fearless fishing partner, and my husband is her mentor. Just like the oceans tides the love and support I get from my family are consistent and powerful. When I lookout to the ever-changing views of Kachemak Bay I know that my family is at home in a community where the bounties of the sea can be appreciated every day. A family that fishes together always has a good story to tell, and I will tell you I am Thankful.
