Bob is Losing His Blonde Locks

By
Real Estate Agent

This autumn I noticed the leaves on trees around Sacramento were a tad slow switching to colorful hue.  First there was no rain, and then a major Northern California wildfire darkened our sky for several days.  Finally, in the last couple days we have experienced rain, and a bit of sky clearing. The leaves quickly began to switch colors.

I live with a couple of trees, "Fred" who lives in my backyard, and "Bob" who resides in the front.  Both are Modesto Ash with normally green leaves which turn to a Clairol golden shade each Fall.  This morning I noticed Bob's blonde locks were quickly leaving his scalp and landing on the ground.  I didn't point the lens upward, because he seemed shy about his rapidly thinning hairline!

Ha. I know what you mean, Myrl. I sent my sister this photo of our back yard in Land Park on Thanksgiving, just as the leaves began to fall from all of that rain in Sacramento. I don't know what kind of tree we have. Maybe you do. I probably knew once when we moved in 16 years ago but do not recall now. I asked my husband, and he doesn't know, either.

I love that your trees not only have faces, but names.  That's a great pick of Bob smiling with his gold locks on the ground.

Myrl that is A LOT of leaves that Bob has shed.  It isn't going to be fun racking them up.

Porl Bob! He lost his golden locks. The expression on his face is pricless! Love the locks!  Now Bob can see them down on the ground without looking up. They are just gorgeous there. Actually too pretty to rake. May the wind blow when the time is just right.

Hi Myrl.  How do you know those trees are male.  They could be Bobbie and Fredricka.
