Some of the newer members of ActiveRain may not know that some of the blogger members have passed away. Many of the reblogs were written by deceased members. It would be nice if there were some kind of designation or note indicating that they are no longer alive.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

I think this is a great idea, Barbara. But the trouble is how do we do it? It's not like we could put a coffin next to their name as a deceased icon. A flower is too subtle. Maybe just the dates they were active on AR. We don't have to say exactly where they went, right?

The only problem I see on the deceased members is who would be responsible for the accuracy. Getting it wrong would be horrible.
