ActiveRain Practices: Comment Reciprocation

Great post, Roy. People often ask why no one engages with them... the answer as often as not can be traced back to the fact that they don't engage with anyone themselves.

Roy, you are always wonderful about reciprocating. Building relationships are such a big part of the Rain and we have to give before we take. 

Good morning Roy.  I try to reciprocate for everyone that leaves a comment on my posts.  As I'm sure you know.

You do a great job reciprocating, Roy. Thank you for all you do.

I love the interaction that happens on a daily basis and every comment brings a smile to my face!

Hi Roy- I try hard to respond to comments on left on my posts as well as reciprocate by commenting on theirs. I don't always succeed but do everything I can to interact with the other members.

Roy Kelley - Good message! It's a practice I started long ago but there are days when business takes over and I can't get there. My apologies to you and those I didn't get around to comment on but I try my best to get there as soon as I can.

You're so good at it, Roy! I get overwhelmed with work and 'life' and am not religious about it...Lord knows I try though! I do need to get better at reciprocation though, for sure!

Comment reciprocation is ideal when you can file the comments the right way. Sometimes on my mobile, I can get a little screwy.

I need to be better at reciprocating on other's posts. I always try to comment on their comments, but I don't always reciprocate on their posts.

I abide by the policy of comment reciprocation. I may not comment on their comments, but I try to visit their blog and comment on one of their posts. (Whew). I've made some great friends this way, plus I've been able to glean lots of information on a myriad of topics.

I try to reciprocate as much as I can, and find that many people do the same, but I'm far from consistent. I tend not to reciprocate the copy and paste comments and certainly not the spam ones.
