You'll never believe what happened to me...

I'm sure this isn't the first time this has happened, but I was returning from downtown today after three different people at three different places had asked me for a business card.  Unfortunately, I didn't have any on me and the resupply was home.  On my trip back home I stopped to talk to a realtor outside our subdivision and she asked if I had a card.  Of course not, they're at home.  Well, I returned home, and by the time I got back to give the realtor a couple of my cards, she was gone.  I blew the opportunity to get some local business right here in my own neighborhood.

Moral of the story?  ALWAYS have business cards!

Bummer! You should see if your phone is capable of sending your contact info to another phone, through bluetooth or infrared. I suppose you could always mms or text it (and that would you give you their phone number as well!)

This has happened to me before as well... Sometimes you just run out of cards. I usually get their card and offer to email them my info.

I always keep a supply in my car, briefcase, golf bag, wife's car, wife's purse, my wallet, gym bag, home and office. If i don;t have any cards on me I am never very far away from them! Have a great weekend!
