I started the video and had to pause - kids!  Anyway, I'm coming back and looking forward to learning more about Google docs.  Currently, this is the system I use to run my updates for neighborhood market reports.  Thanks for sharing and I love the technology you used to share with us.

I have an Xsite, and truly love it. Our company uses etrafficers, which is a good service that I maintain for the company and the LO's. But my site is an Xsite.

this bit of gadgetry is interesting, but what sort of data are you thinking could be displayed that would be of interest?

I produced this for some Appraisers (and I figured Realtors could use them as well) - who were looking to add dynamic content to their website.  The XSites are from www.alamode.com - and have a simple "Wizard" for adding pages.  The custom pages are ones we can create from original content - and this is a way to add charts, word docs, and interactive statistical tools to a web site.

You could use the theory here with Google Docs, to add this type of content to any web host/web page you have!

The type of data you could add would be general sales trends for your local market, inventory levels compared with DOM, or employment vs. median home prices, etc.    Pretty much anything you want to compare numerically, could be added as a "Google Gadget" or chart - adding some visual components to your web site!

Richard - love the instructional video on google, if you resize your player, it will fit nicely on the screen. You currently have your width set at 1450+ which is making it not fit on most viewers monitors. Just an FYI - keep up the great tutorials, and if you need any assistance, just let me know. :-)

Richard - I see you adjusted your Width and Height in the HTML for this tutorial. It looks great now!!  :-)
Keep up the good work, it always pays off.

Great work!  I'm including some Google Docs insight in one of the courses I'm currently writing.  Maybe, I'll consider some XSite also if I can find a smooth way of including it.

That F11 didn't work for full screen.  How would I make it appear smaller onscreen for a more quality viewing.  Certain time you need to scroll right and miss parts of the presentation.

Sorry for the scrolling - the next tutorial I make will be sized better to avoid this - I am still learning to make these viewable for all monitor types!  My laptop has a 17" screen - so I just recorded the whole screen for this.   I made it sort of quick to just answer some questions from appraisers on incorporating some dynamic documents into their web sites - the next time will be better!

If you are using Internet Explorer, you could go to View/Full Screen to have the screen go FULL - which will hide your toolbars, etc.  But you may still have to scroll some to watch the action.
