Do You Use YouTube.com for Agent Marketing or Posting Home Listings?

YouTube.com is fast becoming the new "Google" for searches online and if it
has not yet passed Google it will soon. Using Youtube.com to provide information
on yourself as an agent and listings you have is essential for moving forward in
the world of online marketing. By posting videos online on market trends and reports,
advice for buying and selling a home, great places in your local community you are
basically letting people meet you and get to know you without doing so formally
in a meeting. These videos will help you get more business, more online traffic
and help separate you from the competition.

YouTube.com is something that is easy to set up and use and if you are an agent
consider doing the following videos.

(1) Questions and answers from clients - take previous or current questions
that you have gotten from clients and make a short video asking the question
and then answering it. This can be done on what neighborhoods are good to
live in with kids, top places to visit your local area, market statistics and
data and more.

(2) Listings - put YouTube.com listings online and create virtual home tours.
Clients appreciate it and it is much better to have you walk through a home
and provide information than seeing pictures to music as many videos orginally
did before YouTube.com

(3) Special places in your community - coffee shops, restaurants and places of interest
including parks and activities that make your community special. By showcasing these things
you help promote the area, develop relationships with local businesses and let perspective
clients know that you are active in your community and love it.

Making money via sales online does not take money - it takes committment and time
to go out an embrace technology that larger companies cannot match or keep up with.
Zillow and Trulia can offer large websites and listings but only agents and brokers
can showcase their area and what makes it special on a personal level.

When you start having fun using the YouTube.com resources you will be able to
find more creative ways than I have mentioned here and create a channel that
makes you a well known person in the community and provide more free advertising
for your business and services than what the Yellow Pages would have done 10
years ago.

Embed the videos on web pages and blogs for more exposure and be willing to
be human and make some minor mistakes. Free editing software is available
for free everywhere and doing 1- 2 extra takes is very normal. It takes time
to get comfortable doing videos on the fly but if you take action you will
be able to do this and create another place where you can generate thousands
of free video views, subscribers and lots of extra sales and revenue.

Search engines want video content - local content is the best and you are
the person that can do it and lead the pack and seperate yourself from the
larger slower moving competition.

I have done it and you can too!

Best wishes to your success!

Starting is the first step to success - every video posted is a victory and another step forward. Keep trying to expand the types of videos - question and answers, local things to see and do etc...that way weekend hikes or trips to area places become more fun and useful for your channel. Have a great weekend!
