It has been a busy week - a couple of transactions coming together and a few issues - new listings and my baby girl is home with 2 of my grandchildren. So, I have been away from the Rain for a day or two, but that did not stop 3 of my favorite bloggers from tagging me for Super 8 Meme.... Normally we go back and show who tagged back for a while.... in my case, I am breaking that tradition and naming the Three that picked me for one of their 8 choices.
First was Sandra Cummings - now I adore Sandra - Sandra and I are sisters from another family - We have a ton in common and seem to know when each other needs a boost.
Then Kat DeLong tagged me I had just recently discovered Kat and love a lot about her blog.
Now as I sit down to complete my task Jo Soss tags me - I figure I better get this thing published before anyone else gets me.
This Round of Memes there are 8 questions to be answered - a little easier for this old brain than the previous memes I have done. Without further ado here goes.
1. Who is your favorite musical artist? This was a tough question for me to answer - my favorite group is The Beatles but when I really thought about it my favorite musical artist is more than a singer, he is a song writer and so much more Neil Diamond hands down must be one of the most talented musicians around. Enjoy this song, I love it.
2. Who is your favorite artist? This is a question I can not truly answer - I have several painters and photographers that I love - all of them seem to focus on nature shots.
3. Who is your favorite blogger? I have a bunch of them but the two I seem to always gravitate too are Pat Kennedy and Margaret Woda both are such smart and seasoned REALTORS(R) that I truly look up to. I think this is an unfair question - because I could list 100's of people that I truly enjoy including the 3 that tagged me for this meme.
4. If you could meet anyone (alive or dead), who would it be and what is the most interesting thing about them? Benjamin Franklin - or Andrew Jackson - I love history and these two had such a great force in forming this great country. One of my first public speaking activities was on the topic of the Hermitage House- home of Andrew Jackson - that assignment got me stuck.
5. What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a special education teacher - I love helping and working with special needs children - they have such positive outlooks and such a simple way of seeing things - they are generally pure and we could learn a lot from the simple ways they tend to see things.
6. What is the most interesting piece of trivia you know? John Wayne had a perspiration problem - and cleaning his shirts was a real chore - can you say Ring Around the Collar?
7. If you could live in any point in history what would it be and why? I use to say in the 50's because I always dreamed of being a stay at home mom - having family dinners and all those things they showed on Happy Days or maybe the Brady Bunch - now that my kids are grown and have children of their own.... I would like to live in the future - so that I can see how my grandkids and great grandkids turn out.... maybe I would see a girl come into the bunch.
8. What is the most interesting job you have ever held? Personal Assistant / Office Manager / Seminar Coordinator for Rick DeLuca - I loved that job - I spoke with agents all over the country and often wonder when I look at ActiveRain members profiles if I had ever spoken to them. It was the same ole same ole yet something new everyday. I learned a lot about Real Estate around the world while working there and the rest is history.

Great meme, Thesa! I chose Neil Diamond too (but I couldn't pick one favorite...he's definitely one of my top choices). I saw him in concert a couple of years ago and it was a FANTASTIC show!
Thesa..... you picked all women.... what's up with that.... lol and I picked Benjamin Franklin in mine also... And I have enjoyed some of Neil Diamond's songs.... thanks for sharing this.
Jeff - I figured the few men I follow had been tagged -like you.... and Dan had balked at his wife's request - so... it turned out to be all women - you know I am an equal opportunity tagger
Jo tagged me too. Hmmm drat... Double drat... I'll get you for drat Jo. (Sorry)
I never would have put you on Neil Diamond Thesa. Very interesting.

I think this MEME's on it's/your best behavior.
Where's the real Thesa MEME? That one's sure to be REALLY INTERESTING. Is there a secret link on your site, or will I have to break down and take you out for a couple drinks to get the real scoop? ;-)
Sis...I happen to be out of town and have not been on the rain. Logged in just to read this! Wonderful job. Best piece of trivia I have read yet...cracked me up.
Thanks, Thesa - You're third in line! FIRST I have to do the MEME received weeks ago from Ginger Wilcox. Then, yes, I'll do meme #5 asap. While I'm flattered you tagged me, we all really need to meet some new people on ActiveRain so we can give them a turn.
Thesa, I have really been enjoying this round of meme's. You did a great job. I thought it was easier to do having the questions to answer. I'm not sure who Rick DeLuca is?
Thesa, I enjoyed the info and everyone loves N Diamond. He is coming to the Rose garden soon - we should all go. And you should be honest and let everyone know the reason you were slow to respond when tagged was because you spent a good couple of hours helping educate me before a listing apointment. A BIG thanks!
Thesa, I love your blog, somethings I would have never guessed. Your choice of people in history. What interests you about them? I think we all can say we LOVE the DIAMOND..
