Photos - 1st Dallas Area Active Rain Gathering

We did it! We met face to face tonight at the Blue Mesa Grill in Addison, TX. And what a group we had! A host of stagers, agents, some loan officers, a photographer, a title company attorney, and some technological folks who work with real estate agents. I think there was someone in our group who sells electricty, too.

A big thanks to Dan Eason of Energized Seller who provided us with appetizers (in addition to the free quesadillas). And another big thanks to Karen Otto of Home Star Staging who helped me organize this event! And our server, Joe, was the BEST!

An apology to those of you who showed up and were told we were in the bar and didn't find us. We were on the patio. I don't know why they kept sending people to the bar. Next time we'll make a big sign!

Lorrie: Glad your first AR Gathering was a great success. We felt the same way when we had ours in Bandera, TX ; just to have the opportunity to put a face with a name. Looks like the patio was a perfect setting. How many did you have attend? Now it is time to plan #2.

Lorrie thank YOU for putting this on the calendar and sticking to it! It was great fun and I can't wait for the next gathering although if it's anytime again this summer we'll have to head indoors!

Lorrie... YOU AND KAREN DID A GREAT JOB! It was a lot of fun and it was so nice of you to put it all together (even if you were biased in your choice of location...LOL)!!! We need to do this again soon.

Carl: I left early to pack for a trip and there were about 20. Don't know how many more came after. And there were a few who were at Blue Mesa and didn't find us on the patio (despite telling the staff multiple times where we were).

Karen: A/C is definitely the way to go next time. And maybe the lost souls will find us if we're inside.

Steve: What happens in Addison stays in Addison. Can the same be said for Dallas?

Lorrie, it was great meeting you! Thanks again to you and Karen for putting it together and for Dan Eason providing appetizers. I enjoyed meeting everyone and can't wait for the next get together. I agree with Karen that if it is in the summer, we need to move indoors. We should have had music for sweatin' to the oldies!

I was really looking forward to this but I was detained. My wife had a flat tire and it was either have a good time and meet some great people and figure out where I was spending the night afterwards or go pick up my wife, change her tire and get a new tire on the van (and sleep in my bed). I'm sure you can understand. I'll look forward to the next one.
