It is a good time to visit Longwood Gardens
Chef Dolores and I were at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA on Wednesday to see and photograph the annual A Longwood Christmas exhibit. This is a great destination for your holiday travels. To add to the atmosphere, it began to snow during our visit.
We took lots of photographs but have not yet put them on my computer.

Our Mediterranean Garden glistens with a tree made of more than 600 pieces of hand-cut stained glass that floats above the center fountain. Color and texture abound in a festive flower bed of kalanchoe (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana), cyclamen (Cyclamen persicum), amaryllis (Hippeastrum), spurge (Euphorbia hypericifolia ‘Inneuphdia’), and dwarf arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis ‘Hetz Midget’) below.

We used to visit Longwood Gardens every year when we came from Boston to visit my parents who, at the time, lived in West Chester. It was also incredibly beautiful and different every year.

Roy Kelley - There is a certain kind of elegance at Longwood Gardens fitting for any King and Queen! It must feel like you're part of royalty to visit it during the various seasons of the year. They obviously take very good care of it and make it an extraordinary experience for all who visit. All of the photographs are absolutely beautiful!
Although it's chilly, stay warm at heart. Be joyful together always.
