Today is a beautiful day. The sun is shining and while really frigid outside it is a terrific. I have been out and about and will be again shortly. Birds are all over my yard and seem to be enjoying themselves. This one was taken on a cloudy day with less joy but a great deal of determination.
We had some moderation in our cold weather todaqy and the birds were happy here also.
I think it's cold here too, but at 45 degrees you might not think frigid is the right word. LOL Yesterday was worse it was 36, rainy and windy. Today was at least dry and warmer than that. But I'm ready for my regular programing (I mean weather) to return. 59 is our average high for December and I want that.

Hi Sheila Anderson - Great shot! I can't believe how plump and red your cardinals are. This time of year the color of male cardinals starts to turn a rust color in our area.
