I have recently opened US Realty, Inc.'s 4th office. We are an independent firm in the Richmond Metropolitan Area. Our new office is in Chesterfield, Virginia (Midlothian area).
As broker/manager one of my frustrations has been putting systems in place to run the office and benefit the agents. We've utilized the prepackaged sales meetings from NAR, and my agents find them very informative. However, there are less than 30 meetings, and we hold our Sales Training Meetings weekly.
I searched online for real estate sales meetings and came across John Mayfield's site. He sends downloads to his meetings weekly. Meetings include Sales Training Sheets for the instructor, handouts for your agents, and some have power point presentations that you can use as is or edit to include your company logo, etc,. The meetings are basic outlines which give you the opportunity to adjust them to fit your office.
He includes in his meetings a 4 week session on Business Planning. Meetings cover Legal, Business Planning, Marketing, Prospecting and Motivational subjects.
Each meeting ends with a closing quote from successful people.
I have also enjoyed John's books on technology, real estate ads and marketing.
Running an independent office has it's challenges, but I enjoy working with our agents and supporting them in their efforts to be successful agents!
