EXTENDED STAY AMERICA HOTELS - Ron DiLalla - Realtor - Orange County

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Discovery DRE 01813824

A Chicago real estate investor has purchased eight Northeast Ohio hotels, establishing a 750-room foothold in the market with an eye on more investments here.  Public records show that affiliates of Singerman Real Estate paid $21.1 million for the properties, all Extended Stay America hotels, in late November.  The hotels are in Cleveland suburbs. Their sale is part a larger, 14-property deal including sites in Georgia and Illinois.  The previous owner and manager were Extended Stay America, a North Carolina-based hospitality company that has been shedding dozens of lower-performing hotels and entering franchise agreements with buyers.
