I was first tagged by Jeff Dowler over here, realtown.com/my-personal-experience/super-8-meme. This was all started because of Mary McKnight. I think these are fun. For many of you that don't know what a MEME is, it's something that was started on the internet a few years ago. Wikipedia defines Internet meme here. But when it comes to blogging, a meme is like an internet chain letter. It tells you things about myself that you would normally not know about me.
My original meme is here. What's this MEME phenomenon going on in the blogging world? Well, I have been tagged, or in this case, Memed !!! I ended up doing 3 monre, so there is plenty of information about me. When Jeff Dowler tagged me, this is what I wrote. Jeff Belonger's Meme
This new wave of meme's that Mary started is a little different. She asked 8 questions that we had to answer and then tag 8 new people. Since I was tagged a 2nd time by Ann Cummings, her meme : super-memorial-day-meme-2008 and a 3rd time by Lori Franks, her meme : Lori-Franks-My-first meme, I decided to do this just one more time.
So, in regards to that tingling anticipation to my answers to the 8 questions......
1. Who is your favorite musical artist? (post a youtube video)
I like all kinds of artists, from rock and roll, to Classical rock, soft rock, R & B, Alternative, Retro-Active, Top 40, definitely '80s, '70s, Reggae, and smooth Jazz. Whatt relaxes me most are groups that have that island tune. A mix of reggae and soft rock, with a tad touch of jazz sometimes. I like a mixture of Jimmy Buffett, Barenaked Ladies, and Bob Marley.
2. Who is your favorite artist (post a flicker photo)
My mom in so many ways, who took up painting over 8 years ago. And my great grandfather who at one point was over 60% blind prior to passing away, who was still able to paint very well. My grandfather also did wood carvings. Overall, he was very talented and after he passed away, the town of Two Rivers, WI dedicated a museum in his name with many of his paintings and carvings.
3. Who is your favorite blogger?
As I stated here, my favorite blogger, this is a tough one. What I like most out of bloggers are those that not only give the correct facts, educating the consumer, but those that are very sincere and genuine when delivering their message.
4. If you could meet anyone (alive or dead), who would it be and what is the most interesting thing about them?
Albert Einstein, who was extremely intelligent. Not sure if I would understand much of what he would have to say, but it still would be interesting to say the least. I even had the pleasure of meeting him at my parents house several months ago.
5. What did you want to be when you grew up?
In my other meme, I listed a fireman. But there is another part of me that doesn't want to grow up, always being a kid. If life could be so simple and easy.
6. What is the most interesting piece of trivia you know?
Bob Stewart was a girl, who changed over to become a man. I know, it's usually the other way around, hence why Bob is definitely a different kind of guy. **** this is not a true fact... just joshing him....****
7. If you could live in any point in history what would it be and why?
So many have said today's era, because things just keep getting better. We always seem to be growing when it comes to technology. Just look at the internet in itself. But I also think that what intrigues me the most would be the history of the Roman era and the Egyptian era. Just for the fact they were such great builders with great architects.
8. What is the most interesting job you have ever held?
I consider myself such a people person, hence why I love helping people with mortgages. But I also got to bartend a long time ago, and I also enjoyed that. Was able to meet all kinds of people from all different walks of life. And in most cases, there wasn't as much pressure when bartending.... it was fun.
