I have been having a good week at my space at the Antigue Gallery where I work on Sundays. Today I sold sold my barrister book shelves, a special little limoge box and a old mechanical bank. My space is looking very different because many of my things are gone. That's a good thing. Here is my item for the week. This bone china butter dish is just lovely, simple and beautiful I think. It is old but in great condition. Remember, I can and will ship if you want it.
What a great idea, to be a part of an Antiques "mall"...your own space and your own inventory. Well done, you!

I love that butter dish, Sheila. What are the dimensions and price? I think Christmas time is a great time to sell unique items.

Hi Carol. It is $25.00 and the plate on the bottom is just under 8 inches. Let me know if you want it and I will package and mail it to you. In any event thank you. Sheila
I'm smiling at the comment left by Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents . I need to send that to my grandson, John Luis. I thought he was the only person on the planet that rubbed his corn on the cob along a stick of butter.

Good morning James. It was sold to someone here in the Rain. Made my day. TY Sheila
Oh my gosh, that is GORGEOUS, Sheila! I have a 'thing' for butter dishes! My dear friends from Canada taught me that you can leave your butter out on the counter and I'm loving using decorative, unique butter dishes. And, for the record, I've been doing this for about 10 years and no health issues from leaving the butter out! LOL In fact I use less of it because it is soft and easy to spread when I just need a dab!
Looking forward to seeing your special item next week!!

Hello again Debb. One of our friends in the Rain will now be able to enjoy it. Sheila
Sheila Anderson - What a lovely butter dish! I like the flowers on top and the sleek looks of that elegant dish. I think it would make a really nice gift for Mother's Day for a very special mother or grandmother who enjoys cooking and gardening. It would be pretty at Easter time too.

It reminds me of one that my Granny had when I was a girl and made me think about how I enjoyed to plung the butter churn when I was a little girl and crank the ice cream maker. Funny how "work" did not seem like work to a child.
