The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, December 15, and Tuesday, December 18 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices.  So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers.  The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.

Grand Opening of the Jean Sweeney Open Space Park on Saturday, December 15, at 10:00 am at 1925 Sherman Street. Celebrate the historic occasion with music, food, and play.  Bring a food donation for the Alameda Food Bank.

 

Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, December 15, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.

 

Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour features “Nature Crafts”.  Then find out what’s new at the cove on Saturday, December 15, and Sunday, December 16 at 2:00 pm.  Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.

Star Glow on Sunday, December 16 at 6:00 pm at the Congregational Church of Alameda, 1912 Central Avenue in Alameda.  A holiday concert with bell ringers, carols and more.  Admission with a donation. Childcare provided. Please call 522-6012 for more information.
