Christmas if about giving, and sharing love in the best way that you can – the holiday season is supposed to celebrate the coming of Christ and hope that people will be happy doing what pleases Jesus. By following His example, all individual will taste the nectar of love, peace and joy.
Don’t crave yourself for material things that do not bring you true satisfaction. Desire gifts that are more spiritual for they shall touch the core of your being and bring you joy and peace. The real gift giving is unconditional. It doesn’t come up with a specific value.
The gifts of patience, wisdom, compassion, tolerance and caring are worth more than anything money can buy. You have to give it freely and daily. If you receive the treasure of spiritual wisdom and love from Jesus, your heart will have so much to share with the people around you. His teaching is to love and to share what you have, big or small.
You have to remember that gift giving shouldn’t be an obligation or duty. It should always come from your heart with sincerity. The best gifts can never be stolen or destroyed. Do not ask for gifts – be the person who gives gift, you will get more satisfaction and happiness that way.
The spirit of gift giving during Christmas is to spread your blessings and make the people you love happy and feel that you care.
Always remember that it will always be the thought that counts.
