UPDATE-CAPTURED in TEXAS! (KSDK) Mathew Wilson, the 48-year-old suspect wanted for the March 4th assault of a real estate agent in Weldon Spring, was arrested Saturday evening by police in Texas.  St. Charles County Sheriff's Department officials say Wilson was taken into custody outside of a real estate office in the town of Granbury, Texas near Fort Worth.

Investigators say U.S. Marshals tracked Wilson to Texas and notified police in the town of Granbury. St. Charles County Sheriff's Department officials say a Granbury police officer spotted a vehicle that matched the one investigators believe Wilson was driving, outside a realtor's office. The license plates did not correspond to those investigators were looking for, but the officer noticed a lot of clothing and other items inside and that raised the officer's suspicions. When Wilson returned to the real estate office, police took him into custody without incident.

No word yet on when Wilson will be brought back to Missouri where he faces charges of first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, and felonious restraint against a 24-year-old woman. Investigators say he will have to go through an extradition process that will not get started before Monday.

There is now a REWARD for this fellow. 3.9.06

I have included the article that was sent to me from my CBG office today regarding a robbery/sexual assault that happened to a fellow Coldwell Banker Gundaker agent agent yesterday.  You can also find the article here.

I am passing this along to remind everyone to don't let your guard down. Below is the information I was given regarding this situation.

This incident happened in MO, but he is wanted all over the country.  I have included Rob Stevens' Safety Tips that we should make a habit of.

Yesterday afternoon (Sunday 3/4/07) a 49 year old white male, 5'11" 187 lbs with a light mustache and blonde hair, pulled a gun on one of our agents in a home she was showing him and demanded all her money. He took her money, credit cards, wedding ring, cell phone, etc. Then handcuffed her to the pole in the basement and fled.

Matthew E. WilsonHe gave her the name of Mathew Doolin, which turns out to be an alias that he has used before. According to the police he is wanted all over the country and his real name is Mathew E. Wilson. The police consider him to be Armed and Dangerous.

He no longer has a goatee.

Matthew E. Wilson2

He had found the agent from her picture in a Harmon Homes magazine. He told her he was in town from Las Vegas for a funeral and he had inherited a large sum of money and wanted to buy a house.

If anyone has any information please call Sergeant Walters at 636-949-3020

Investigators are releasing the alleged attacker's picture because they feel he is a threat to the public.

Wilson was last seen driving a 1995 medium blue Ford Contour, with Missouri license plate numbers 1AW95M.

Posting his picture to so many agents across the country was a stroke of genius.  Very, very good work, Angela.

Oh my gosh, I'm sure she's traumatized. Another reason to meet a client for the first time at the office. Thanks for the important reminder.

Angela, thanks for posting this.  I am taking a good hard look at his face so I remember him.  We must never forget that the nature of our business puts us at greater risk of being robbed, or worse.  Please be extra cautious ALL!  There was a local husband/wife team found shot in south Florida about 10 days ago.  I still don't know whether it was related to their profession, but it's scary nonetheless.
