Affordable Mason Ohio New Construction Homes In 2019

For some time if you wanted a Mason Ohio new construction home you needed to have a budget of at least $400,000, and realistically more like $500,000 and up.  That's the type of homes that Drees, Fischer, John Henry and other builders were providing.  And why not?  They could easily get it and subdivision after subdivision was expanded or created. 

M/I Homes has been having great success selling those upper end homes in Roberts Park and Hudson Hills.  

 

But finally, there will be new construction homes that start with a MUCH more affordable base price.  M/I Homes is prepping their newest community Kerrisdale just north of their existing community Roberts Park.  The starting price will be in the $280s, significantly below other Mason Ohio new construction homes.

Kerrisdale will have 144 homes when completed.

Now obviously to get that price point there has to be some tradeoffs. 

Lot sizes will be on the smaller side, with only 60 ft of frontage. 

Expect the offered floor plans to be smaller homes (e.g. don't expect 5 bedroom plans).

Amenities will be limited (no pool), but bike path/walking trails will be available.  And considering the proximity to VOA Park, why would you need much more.

The key thing?  Your Kerrisdale home will be part of Mason City Schools.

M/I Homes will be providing more information about the community in January 2019.  We do expect these homes to be VERY popular based upon their affordability.

Kerrisdale is located on the southwest corner of Butler-Warren Rd and Brewer Rd.  There's no shortage of shopping, dining and entertainment in the area.  .
