Why Failing The Real Estate Exam Three Times Did Not Stop Me

By

If you or someone you know has failed the real estate exam, my goal is reading he following factual events, you will realize, never give up!

The first time was in Columbus Ohio.

It was such a surprise that I failed the real estate exam, I believed they made a mistake when grading my test paper.

The first question after I was told I failed, was: When can I take the exam again.

It was hard to believe I would have to wait a couple of weeks, and BOOM! I passed.

The next six months, I sold 12 homes. And none of it was done on knowledge or experience.

It was all done on a knowing this could be done.

Never looking back.

Then a year later, in Phoenix Arizona when I was told I failed, if I could see the results myself this way we would really know if I had failed.

Then a second time and failure.

This meant serious business.

I went to the instructor and told him: ”I will come to your home, and mow your lawn, wash your car, clean your house, all I ask you to do in return is help me pass this test.”

The instructor passed on my offer and gave me a few tips in order for me to find success after the next test day.

During the next 28 years I averaged selling 25 homes a year.

Please, don’t ever give up.

Maintain a belief you will pass the next time.

Think, focus, study, experience a total belief in yourself.

So much in life is knowing how to take the test.  Experience in taking the test, even though not passing is a step in the right direction.
