Okay, so here I am at my lap top trying to think of my first Blog to write and I am stuck on the title. Aside from rhyming, the words have nothing in common and are not about me or real estate, but hey, I'm Clogging-Flogging-Blogging!
I am very fortunate to be able to live, work and play in the famous Bavarian town of Leavenworth. We moved here about 2 years ago and I went to work for Windermere Real Estate/NCW here in town. Our office is located at the west end of town, across from the Forest Service, but I myself like to use McDonalds as a land mark, because even when my boys were toddlers and couldn't speak, they knew McDonalds and excitedly pointed at the arches, a universal symbol known to all. We are a destination tourist town, and prior to moving here, we ourselves spent many a vacation in and around the Leavenworth area enjoying the outdoor recreation that we have to offer and especially the "no rain." Our town has over 27 festivals a year, something for everyone to enjoy. We just had our Mai Fest where we had a Looking Good in Lederhosen Contest. Yes, people actually enter and win, and there is even a Best Looking Dog in Lederhosen Contest. My favorite was the entry of the goat in Lederhosen, he won in the Dloesn't Fit In Any Category Contest. The 1st weekend in June brings us the Bavarian Bike and Brews Fest, which is an IMBA sanctioned XC bike race. We are also having a Wine Walk where you can sample regional wines while strolling through galleries. It should be a fun time for all.
I had intended to talk about Seller Financing in my firt Blog, but somehow I went a different path. So I guess you know what my next Blog will be about!
