Truth be told I tried to ignore it, kept putting it off but then my husband and fellow blogger Jay McGillicuddy got tagged and he actually wrote a meme so I knew I had to do my part.
This will be my third meme! If you're so inclined you can read my first one here and my second one here. This meme was a little easier as I have to answer certain questions...so here goes.
1. Who is your favorite musical artist?
My all time favorite and probably the one who most impacted me as a kid especially by his death was Jim Morrison of the Doors . I think he was very misunderstood and probably extremely lonely.
2. Who is your favorite artist?
Oh gosh... I really don't know. I love anyone with talent!
3. Who is your favorite blogger?
That's an easy one! My husband Jay...I love reading everything he writes!
4. If you could meet anyone (alive or dead), who would it be and what is the most interesting thing about them?
My opa Kaldun. I'd like to have just a little time with him. Listening to his stories and maybe recording his words. I don't think I ever told him I loved him, I'd like time to do that.
5. What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an actress or an attorney... LOL instead I became a REALTOR/Trainer and I really have no regrets. I love what I do!
6. What is the most interesting piece of trivia you know?
Never liked the game Trivial Pursuits and I don't pay much attention to it.
7. If you could live in any point in history what would it be and why?
Probably during the King Henry the XVIII era, I just find that time frame very exciting and I probably would have been beheaded too.
8. What is the most interesting job you have ever held?
I was an A&W Root Beer Carhop....mini skirt and roller skates. It was fun and I did real well in tips but it was hard and taught me the value of service. I worked outside in all kinds of weather and encountered all different types of people from the perverts to the sweetest old ladies.
I think I'm supposed to tag 8 people...oh well rules are made to be broken.
Moni - I think you're right about Jim Morrison...his whole life always seemed so tragic to me. I loved his music as well. Car hop at A&W..I'll bet those short skirts felt really good in January!!

Me too - but we didn't have the mini skirts and we only did the skates for special occassions. This was in the early 70's! There aren't too many A&W Carhops left - I love me a "teen burger" :)
Hey...I still drink A & W...not as often as I'd like...blood sugar ya know :) Anyway, I loved that era too...but quickly changed my mind when I thought of TP :)
Actress/Attorney vs. Realtor/Trainer... it's all in the same ballpark. :) I haen't been to an A&W since God was a small boy. They don't do the mini-skirts and roller skates anymore though. :-/
Awh...thats kind of sweet that your husband is your favorite blogger..:-)...And I miss those A&W girls in their rollerskates ......when I was a kid I always wanted to be one of those.......:-)_
Moni - Thanks for giving me some Jim Morrison to listen to. Light my Fire is my fav from the summer of 1968. We played that record album until it wore out. Yes it was a vinyl record! Always loved A&W Root Beer - we would stop there on our way home from the White Mtns. Great meme:)
What a great MeMe and the Doors certainly were something special. There is always something special when a good poet meets a great musician. Then A&W, boy are the days of the roller skates gone. We had one restaurant try it here for awhile but we found out later they had to stop because of concerns for someone getting injured. (STUPID)
